Life events:

Judhael's youth was ordinary for his first 15 years. Since his family was poor, due to many wars, his education was limited. He did however managed to learn some of the classics and some mathematics with the help of his part-time tutor Ealdred the former archbishop of York.

Judhael was later admitted to the local monastery where days were spent on studying and of dreaming of great adventures. Thus the nick name "The Adventurus Bretonnus" was stuck to him. The Norman's conquest of England brought him sadness and many sorrows along with the urge to fight for the island's freedom. His brother Amaury was killed in battle along with King Harold. Many of Judhael's relatives and friends were either killed or badly treated at the hands of the invaders.

The conquest of 1066 brought back many memories of the failed Norman invasion of Brittany in 939.You see, Judhael's great grandfather, the great Celtic King Allan Barver had defeated the Normans and they had remained his family's arch enemy.

In 1068 Judhael was working aboard a merchant ship, trading on both sides of the English Channel. It was a time when one hears many tails of great adventures and of many rumors. In 1070 by a chance encounter with one Hereware, "the wake" lieutenants Judhael decides to join the rebel cause in East Anglia. That same night Judhael himself shipwrecked near the English town of Lewes in Sussex.

On his way to the rebellion he hears cries of help. Rushing with only his faithful sword he notices that some ladies were being attacked (scared by a wild beast). The beast was in fact just a large porcupine that had bolted the ladies horses and had knocked out a knight in the process. After slaying the porcupine and comforting the ladies, the injured knight reawakens and turns out to be Prince Williams Rufus.

Later that day, the sad news of Hereward's surrender reaches them. It is another major disappointment for Judhael to prove himself in battle.

The next day sees Judhael travelling to London with Prince William and his entourage. It was during that trip that they became friends and that many gifts of land, gold and silver were given to him for bravery.

One night the plans of a possible Norman invasion of Brittany were revealed to him. So it was there and then that his real duty was for him to be a spy for his beloved country. In order to be really effective as a spy, he settled in Cornwall as the proud owner of an Inn. As an Inn keeper one hears many things and can easily noticed troop and ship movements. Soon afterwards Judhael married Lady Aethelthritha of the Royal Household of Northumbria. To this day, this family is always on alert if ever a Norman invasion force should establish for the conquest of Brittany and Wales.

In October 31,1121 after visiting Brittany Judhael died of the plague after a very short sickness.
